Bye-Bye, Eva?
NBC Universal recently evicted Eva and the other Desperate Housewives ladies of Wisteria Lane from Universal Studios’ historic Stage One, which has been their home since the show debuted in 2004. It may now become the new home of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The Desperate Housewives set has moved to two different stages, including the much larger Stage 41. The cast reportedly wasn’t happy about the move, which disrupted production for a few days. Speaking of unhappiness, fans won’t be at all happy if Eva’s character gets killed off at the end of this season, which has been rumored. Insiders say creator Marc Cherry is considering the death of a main character, and Longoria seems a likely candidate. Sources suggest such a move won’t greatly upset Eva, however, since she is eager to start a family!

J. Lo Heading for Small Screen
Having conquered film, music and fashion, Jennifer Lopez is now hoping to take television by storm. Lopez is developing a TV series about five Miami teens who run a Quinceañera party-planning business. The Amigas Sweet 15 Club is a half-hour sitcom with many dramatic undertones, based on a concept by Jane Startz, who produced the hit film, The Babysitters Club, adapted from the popular book series. Startz will executive produce the new series alongside Lopez. The show follows a group of talented Latina teens who put their individual talents to good use by starting a business to help young girls throw their dream Quinceañera gala. The show is still in development, so there are no more details at press time...but definitely stay tuned!
